The agreement between you and PORTDA when you use our website and apps.
Last updated: 6 July 2026
By creating an account or using the PORTDA website or apps, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be authorised to act for the business you represent. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
Vendors must complete KYC (including GST, PAN, address proof and ship references) before accessing lead and order features. You warrant that documents and details you submit are genuine and current, that you hold the licences required to provide your services, and that you will fulfil orders professionally and lawfully.
Buyers post requests; vendors submit quotations, which buyers may accept, counter or decline. When a quote is accepted an order is formed. Order funds are held in escrow and released to the vendor after the buyer confirms completion, subject to our dispute process. PORTDA is a marketplace and is not a party to the underlying service contract between buyer and vendor.
PORTDA charges a platform commission on completed orders (shown to the vendor and confirmed before quoting) and may offer paid vendor subscriptions and per-lead unlocks. Applicable taxes (GST) are added and shown at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in Section 8.
Vendors may purchase advertising placements (e.g. the Fixed Banner and Rotating Banner). The Fixed Banner is exclusive per port for its booked period on a first-paid basis. Ads are subject to review and approval by PORTDA and must comply with our content rules.
Order cancellations and refunds follow the escrow rules and the state of the order at cancellation. Where a paid advertising slot cannot be honoured (e.g. a port already booked by an earlier payment), the affected payment is refunded. Subscription and commission fees are generally non-refundable once the benefit is provided.
The platform is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PORTDA is not liable for the acts or omissions of buyers or vendors, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to PORTDA in the three months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at our registered office shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections.
